About

The Prince of Preachers
Charles Haddon Spurgeon (1834–1892) was a pastor in London for about 38 years, most of them at the Metropolitan Tabernacle. Known as the Prince of Preachers, he spoke to thousands of people every week, and his sermons were printed and sent around the world. Today they fill 63 volumes, and they’re as readable now as when he preached them.
“Nobody ever outgrows Scripture; the book widens and deepens with our years.”
